The heat was on, but so was the energy!

The D9 Different Strokes Pickleball Event on Sunday, July 12, 2026, at Jackson Park was a huge success! From first-time players picking up a paddle for the very first time to seasoned competitors showing off their skills, the courts were filled with laughter, friendly competition, and incredible fellowship.

Despite the summer heat, the turnout was amazing. New players learned the game, experienced players brought their best, and plenty of curious spectators stopped by to see what all the excitement was about. That’s what community is all about; welcoming everyone.

If Sunday’s event was any indication, this has all the makings of a new annual event.
